Natty Snatty Wins bB3

After a terrific day of poker festivity, it was Luton regular and all round top man, Phil 'Snatiramas' Cooklin, who rose triumphant come the end of the night.

After being whittled down to just two survivors Matt674 and Snatiramas (pictured left with online qualifier, M3boy) were left to battle it out for a rather tasty 1.8k and, more importantly, the coveted blondeBash 3 trophy - the silverware was clearly what every participant had their lustful eyes on.

And so, with Matt674 failing to make his straight draw, Snatirama's King top pair held up to give the recent dieter his most prestiguous win to date. (I'm not sure exactly what he has won previously, but surely... SURELY... it doesn't compare to this victory.)

With in excess of 150 players competing for the honour of top blonde and the bragging rights of a lifetime, we mustn't forget to congratulate the other 7 final tablists - AdamM, BigArmo, to name just two. Well done fellas! In fact, what the heck, here are the final 9 in all their glory:

1st  Snatiramas
2nd  Matt 674
3rd  madasahatstand
4th  Chubbs nowab
5th  Adam M
6th  ChippieLeicester
7th  Langboy
8th  Lightbreeze
9th  bigarmo

And also, a big thumbs up to the current Heads-Up Champs - Eck, Horneris, Swordpoker, Le Knave, and er... help! who was the fifth member?? who won the now world (ahem) renowned Heads Up Comp. Considering that an impressive 14 teams took part, this was an incredible feat, but something tells me that the majority of their £750 winnings have been spent on various alcoholic beverages.

And, of course, who can forget the footie, which, naturally, was won by inthebelly's England team. I couldn't make what I hear was a thrilling contest, but I must report a conversation I had with Ironside earlier on in the week.

Ironside: How would you like to play for Team Scotland this weekend?
snoopy: But I'm not Scottish.
Ironside: You went to Scotland once though didn't you?

Joking aside, this was a tremendously successful day in which everyone appeared to be wearing a smile, especially those who helped to drink the bar dry!

Although we all clearly had the time of our lives, we mustn't forget to say a few thank yous:

TightEnd for doing virtually everything
Newmanseye for setting the quiz questions
RobertHM for organising the Heads Up Comp
Poppet for her labels
Kev for his stand-up comedy
Silo for the trophies
inthebelly for arranging the footie
Grosvenor Walsall (Dani, Zak, Quentin and co) for hosting the Event
and last but no means least... tikay for... well, just being tikay

as the man himself would say, it was emotional, and I can't wait for the next one...
