The highlight of the last four days was winning a $14k Main Event package on Betfair on Saturday night.

$140+14 entry fee, the Crypto sites added 100% minimum in the form of extra seats to each satellite. I think there were five separate satellites in total. I entered two of them, only because I woke up too late to play the earlier ones, in the first I came 46th/400 with 8 seats available, the second one however I finished in the top 5 from 221 runners to secure the package. After my well-documented failures in the WSOP events I've entered so far it was nice to restore a bit of confidence in my game and of course lock up a Main Event seat and 15 nights free accomodation here at the Rio. Also, it's a bit of a milestone for me as it's the first time I've actually won a package to a Main Event in an online satellite, and over the past two years I have entered more than enough of them.

It was an unusual tournament in that I never sucked out, and I only remember playing one coinflip, which I won with a rivered ace. I managed to pinch enough blinds and antes to stay afloat throughout and then won a crucial all-in on the final table with AK v QJ. Folded QQ to a reraise with seven players left, and then with six left the drama was cut short when the short-stack found JJ against a big stack's KK and failed to improve.

About time I put together some form in a multi: hopefully next time I do so will be downstairs in a WSOP event.

On Saturday night I went to a club called Jet in The Mirage. A few beverages later resulted in me having another day off on Sunday, with just a little bit of online poker thrown into the mix the last few days, where I've managed to eke out a bit of profit.

I haven't played a live hand of poker now for perhaps five days, I will again eventually but right now I'm happy to be winning online.

I'm looking at the last few days as sort of a mid-term break, I plan to have a go at a few more WSOP events leading up to the Main Event, and my next update may even have some live poker content.
