On Friday evening we went to a Chinese Restaurant in the Bellagio called Jasmine. As we were pretty hungry the six-course set-meal with wine matching looked ideal. Inexplicably, we finished a Chinese meal without a grain of rice to be seen.  Even more ridiculous was the fact that myself and Martin were still hungry, so we then ordered some fried rice. Here we are with the fried rice (and Irish coffee), not impressed by the most expensive meal we've had in Vegas so far.

Moving on to yesterday, and I played my staple diet of one single table satellite. It may appear that I don't mention the ones I don't cash in, but this simply isn't true, I must have cashed in six consecutive now and yesterday I continued this, dispatching of Ron Rose, who was only too happy to advertise his book at the table. Also present was well-known English player Ian Woodley. I made a deal heads-up with an Australian player who was being watched by his friend Mel Judah.

Saturday night and we went for a meal at the top of the Palms restaurant with the freshly arrived Richard Gryko and Ben Grundy (Milkybarkid - right). Then somehow we managed an early night, Ben is playing the $10k omaha tournament today, whilst I may play some of the sunday tournaments online or try to continue my STT run downstairs.

Been here for two weeks now, the time has flown by and I wish I was staying longer than just another four weeks. All is going smoothly, apart from my frightening inabilty to do anything in live MTT's, and Dubai's rather worrying habit of listening to Elton John before going out in the evening.
