I went to bed on Sunday, wimping out of the blonde bash finale on Sunday night at Cincins. It had been a very busy few days and I felt I had nowt left.
Early to bed means early to rise so I woke up still having enough time to sqeeze in a batch during the play zone. With 2,096 tournaments still to play, I'll have to fit in these batches wherever I can.
Days 76, 77 and 78 Results : -$672 (+$10,099.5 total)
ROI : 8.2% (after 1,904 tournaments played)
Looking back though I see that it was after BlondeBash one that I went on a huge downswing.
Wasn't planning on updating until tomorrow, but after a piss-poor batch of 30, I thought I'd come along and state that I really hope this doesn't happen again. Ooo-errrr
Day 81 - When a football fan is watching a match, if his team let a goal in, he'll be proper gutted. It might even ruin his day.
A basketball follower watching his chosen team concede a basket, (although he'll not be over the moon) he's unlikely to feel as if his stomach has been wrenched out with a fruit spoon.
Obviosuly this is because it's a far more frequent occurence in basketball. If the basketball manny was to feel as bad as the football fanatic every time his team let one past, he'd lose about 2 stone in weight every match and be unlikely to live through the weekend. Needs must....
It's the same with me and poker at the moment, playing such a high volume, I'll get around 10 bad-ass beats a day. I really don't care about them, whether they be on the bubble or heads up or wherever. Just get on with the next one, or next six as the case may be.

So, as you can imagine, I'm becoming less and less able to muster sympathy when others regail me with tales of their bad beats.
It's hard work trying not to come across as an arrogant ass by saying something like "I get 5 of them before breakfast, shut yer cakehole"
Results are all that counts, now go get em.
