(8) Day 22 - 27

Days 22 and 23 - Man this is gettin tough. Only managed 12 on Sunday (went to the pub) and 16 tonight. Thats one days work from 2, a poor effort. Packing it in tonight after just 16 as I'm pissed off about something so it's best not to play. It's nothing a nights sleep won't cure.

The new pc (with it's lovely big monitor) has been confirmed for arriving on Friday. I'll be able to breeze through 40 a day with that no problem. Or at least that's what I'm telling myself at the moment, we'll see how it works in practise.

Days 22 and 23 Results : +$349.5 (+$3614.3 total)
ROI : 13.7% (after 441 played)

I'm confident in my ability to play at least 6 tables when the new pc comes. I've already got some good notes on most of the regulars. That and 4 seems very easy for me now, even when they are all approaching the endgame at the same time.
If things go wrong, and it looks like I can't manage that many then I'll step back down. Reaching my target is important to me, but I'm not going to piss away the bankroll to get there.

All that being said, I still think I can make it.

I'll be busy on Wednesday but will be back early Friday morning to let you all know how Day 24 and 26 go.

Days 24, 25, 26 and 27 - Have adjusted the ol' sleeping pattern over the last few days as I've had things to do during the day, some of them I needed to be awake for. The big drawback of sleeping at night is that I've been unable to play a lot of poker then. As ABC as these things are, it's difficult to play them in my sleep.

I spent a night up in Aberdeen so that's part of the reason why I've only managed 34 tournaments in total only over the 4 days.

Yesterday got me pissed off. Waited in all day for the computer to be delivered but it never arrived. Phoned them up this morning, apparently the driver reported that there was "no access to site". I think that's a delivery man euphamism for, couldn't be bothered so we knocked off early. They might have phoned me and said so. GRRRRR

Days 24,25,26 and 27 Results : -$318.5 (+$3295.8 total)
ROI : 11.6% (after 475 tournaments)

Doesn't take a Sklansky to work out that 4,000 in 4 months is 1,000 a month. Managed just less than half that with Month 1 approaching it's conclusion.

I really need this new monitor to increase my volume of play and reach my target. If for some reason it does not arrive on Monday (they have promised me it will) then I'll be a very bitter bunny indeed.
