Day 10 - Finally, I've had "one of those days". More 3rds and 4ths than you could shake a big hairy stick at. Not moaning, this is what happens in poker. I'm just happy that I managed to get another 34 under my belt. This ain't no bad beat thread, and I don't intend to make it so, no matter how bad they get.
I bought a new computer today, with a view to allowing the possibility of playing more than 4 tables. Even if I do stick to just the four-at-a-time, the 24" widescreen monitor will still come in handy. It'll make it easier on my 'ol mince pies. If I stare at my laptop for 8 hours every night I'll probably eventually go blind (even faster perhaps, depends what I'm using it for 
)
Got it from t'internet, so I have to wait a week or so before my new toy is delivered. I'll have to fiddle with wires to set it up though, that always stumps me for a fair few hours.

Day 11 - Played a decent amount today, 38 tournaments in total.

I'm trying to maintain a certain ambivilance about my results at this early stage of proceedings. Not celebrating too much when I win should help me not feel too gloomy after a bad day.
This might be true, today I've shown another small loss and don't feel "too gloomy". It's bloody harder to think of something to write about that isn't a self indulgent moan though. 
Day 11 Results : -$349.5 (+$4061.3 total)

So the ol' ROI has come back down to earth at last. I knew it would happen eventually. Would like to have had it flirt around in the 30's for a bit longer though, maybe a stormer of a Day12 will sort that out.
Will certainly hope for a winning sesh tomorrow. If it turns out as 3 red pen days on the trot, I'd feel like I was dissapointing y'all.
Day 12 - Didn't get to play too much today, was working but managed to squeeze in 23 tourneys afterwards.
Started off the day by playing three batches of 4 and only reaping a lowly three cashes, all of them 3rds. After that happened it became more than likely that the red pen was going to have to be used for a 3rd consecutive day. Happy to report that I didn't let this get to me. I played the next 11 exactly as I've played the previous 270 before them (I'd like to think) and finished the day having not pissed too much away.

ROI : 23.0% (after 281 tournaments played)
